Trillions of dollars of domestic oil currently remains underground in apparently “tapped-out” wells. At the same time, enormous sums of money are transferred from Americans who pay endless amounts of money to foreign nations for their oil. Pioneer Energy’s technology is based on technology originally developed for NASA for use in high altitude research and Mars exploration. The Pioneer Energy team has taken this revolutionary technology, patented it, and commercialized it to create a greener world. Pioneer Energy products convert biomass (such as corn stover, forestry residue, livestock manure, etc.) which is available nearly everywhere in the U.S. at low cost, into CO2 and clean electricity, eliminating any CO2 transport infrastructure that is harmful to the environment. The CO2 is used to extract the otherwise inaccessible oil. The biomass residue does not contain edible plant parts, so as not to contribute to rising global food costs.
